Second Floor Renovation at Delta Nu

The second-floor took on a new look over summer ’22. The old asbestos tile, which had been under carpet, was removed. New carpet was laid in the cold-air dorm and all of the second-floor study rooms.

The study rooms, including the wooden wardrobe closets, got new coats of paint. All of the wardrobes were painted white to brighten the room; each room also has an accent color on one wall. LED strips were added to the study desks and all study room light fixtures were upgraded. The kitchenette cabinets (previously hall closets when some of you were in the house) were painted and got a new quartz countertop and sink.

We plan to complete all of these same improvements on third floor this next summer.

• New chairs for the foyer

• Repainting of the breakfast room

• Dish sanitizer repaired

• Sump pump motor replaced

• ADT Security receiver replaced

• All windows washed

• Back fence repaired
