The Chapter celebrated its 61st anniversary this fall with an alumnae reunion in Ames. The reunion, intended to note the 60th anniversary, was delayed for one year due to COVID. Friday night the group gathered at the Prairie Moon Winery in North Ames for socializing and reminiscing over Delta Nu archives, photos, composites, and scrapbooks.

Saturday was filled with optional activities, such as a campus tour, but everyone toured the house to see the exciting improvements that have occurred in recent years. Saturday night we met at the ISU Alumni Center to celebrate the achievements of our chapter and our sisters. Entertainment was provided by the men of FarmHouse, who serenaded us with several songs.

The highlight of the night was awarding the Outstanding Delta Nu Alumna Award to Delta Nu’s first president, Beatrice “Babs” Bruns Smith of Columbia, Missouri. The fifth & sixth photos, below, show current president Reagan Duwe showing first president Bea Smith how to do the Alpha Chi hand sign.
